Wells Cathedral Tour
Join us on this educational tour lead by experienced Cathedral staff. Explore the interior structure of this magnificent and historic place of worship. Also included is a visit to the world famous Vicars Close, the oldest street in England.
The tour lasts for 2 hours for a maximum of 12 people.
Meet in front of the Cathedral at 1.50pm where a Society member will be in attendance.

Friday 12th Walk H06

Historic Landscape of Charterhouse
Come and see and listen to the history and remains of this ancient landscape, with numerous and interesting relics of this famous lead mining area dating back from The Romans to Victorian times.
Tour lead by a member of CHERT (Charterhouse Environment Research Team), and lasts about 2 hours.
Meet at the Charterhouse Mineries, BS40 7XR at 10.30am.  (ST 505557)

Saturday 13th Walk/Tour H01A Axbridge Medieval Town Tour
A tour of this Medieval Town with a knowledgeable local historian, taking in its extensive and interesting features and numerous places
of interest. Includes a tour of King John's Hunting Lodge & Museum
Meet 10.30am in front of The Hunting Lodge, Axbridge Square, BS26 2AR.

Sunday 14th Tour H08

Banwell Bone Caves
Take a tour of this ancient Cave System dating back 80000 years. Visit the old follies and tower within the grounds.

Refreshments will be available.
Meet at the Caves at 10.00am

  Walk/Tour H03 Frome Town Heritage Walk
Local historian Alister McLeavy will take you for a stroll around the Counties fourth largest town. Learn about this interesting town with it's cobbled and steep streets and numerous unique features. The tour takes about two hours.
Meet at 2.00pm. The Round Tower, Market Yard, Frome, BA11 1BB.
